Conn. native walking mode of speech

       Life took an unusual turn for a 18-year-old from a small town.

Instead of hiking local land trusts, Lindsay Isaac Bridgewater, professionally known simply as Isaac, now spends his days on the slopes of fashion in Paris, London and New York.

Isaac, a 2012 graduate of Shepaug Valley High School, is a model with the Marilyn Agency in New York and Elite in Paris and London.

These three agencies are well known for research and care of young models - they increase a high status model.

Among these agencies are signed with Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Carla Bruni.

Isaac was the start and runway with Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice aka names and made appearances with famous designers Rick Owens in Paris and Marc Jacobs in New York.

"When I met Victoria Beckham, they intimidated me," Isaac said, "but when I did, I found it incredibly accessible and inspiring.

"It may be behind the scenes crazy," she added. "Sometimes you're standing in line without heels on, and it's time to go." I have no shoes! You scream. "They're coming," someone screaming. This is an adrenaline rush. "

His mother, Lori Isaac radiates with pride the success of her daughter.

"I can not believe that she has visited these cities," she said, "especially in Paris, where they need to travel to many places in the city and do not speak French."

Isaac signed with Marilyn Agency during his junior year at Shepaug. He was one of five organizations in New York that his "mother agent" introduced to her.

She made her first fashion, while an older Shepaug. It was during Fashion Week 2012 in New York City.

"Rachel Coney was my first show," Isaac said. "Then there was 20-something shows in quick succession after that."

Lori Isaac said her daughter has always wanted to model.

"When she was 12, we said, 'OK, we'll check it out," she said. "We have per-Sort in Boston and has many memories. Yet it was only 5 foot 5 inches then. They said they remembered when two inches longer."

Classmate Shepaug Isaac, Gina Demeo, they said he was not surprised by the success of his friend.

"Lindsay is driven and the model look like," said Demeo. "I know she has worked very hard to get to this point. Initially she thought to herself. Then I saw the fashion show she held her senior project.

"She had Shepaug girls and some models met. It was really cool, they walk on the runway," said Demeo. "I felt like I was in a New York City show was."

University of waiting for a while, Isaac said.

"You're just so much to learn in life, in my career," she said. "Bridgewater is small and the living, it is safe. Now I'm thrown into the world with all these wonderful people with creative minds."
